At Wisconsin Dairy Veterinary Service, each one of our devoted staff is passionate about animals. We’re a close-knit team that enjoys working with and supporting each other in any way that we can. Read on to meet the talented doctors of Wisconsin Dairy Veterinary Service.
Dr. Dan Hagman
Dan is a graduate from the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dan is an outstanding dairy doctor, husband, and dad to his two daughters. He enjoys hunting both pheasant and whitetails. If you can get past the fact that Dan is a Gophers and Vikings fan, he's a really great guy.
Dr. Jason Marish
After completing his undergraduate degree in Dairy Science and Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Jason graduated in 2001 from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. His primary focus is bovine reproduction and calf health, additionally tinkering with cervid (deer) management. He is also a wonderful husband and dad to three beautiful daughters. When he's not working Jason enjoys golfing and attempting to complete the never ending honey do list.
Dr. Michelle Hintz
Dr. Michelle Hintz completed her undergraduate work at Fox Valley Technical College and UW-River Falls in Agribusiness and Dairy Science. She then went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2021. Michelle has had a long standing passion for agriculture as she grew up in Marion, WI on her family’s dairy and is still involved there today. Her interests in veterinary medicine are milk quality, surgery, obstetrics, diagnostics with ultrasound(calf-lung scanning, fetal sexing), and troubleshooting herd health problems. She enjoys building relationships with the clients and helping them with the wellbeing of their animals whether it’s an individual animal or whole herd.
In Michelle’s free time she enjoys reading, baking, hiking, kayaking, skiing, and spending time with family, friends, and of course the cows and critters at home.
Dr. Abby Michels
Abby grew up in Antigo with many ties to the area. She is graduating from the University of Madison School of Veterinary Medicine 2023. She has a passion for dairy production medicine and we are very excited for her to join our growing practice.
